Dear Parents,
Welcome back to this busy half term. The children have settled back into school brilliantly and we are now busy beginning our new topic.
This half-term we are finding out about “People who help us”. We have a role play Post Office and a range of theme based activities. We will also be finding out about people who help us in our own school. The children will be visited by a local Postman and the School Community Police Officer to enhance their understanding of the topic.
We will be continuing to learn about the colour red this week, before moving onto orange later in the term. We are grateful for all the items the children have been bringing in for our colour table.
Fruit money for this half term is £3.50. If you could send this in as soon as possible in a named envelope.
As the weather begins to get colder, could you please ensure your children have warm coats etc, as we will be making use of the outdoor area on a daily basis. Please ensure all coats are named.
We will be sending out a letter later in the half term regarding all of our Christmas activities and events.
